Purpose:

 

Assist with Overseeing daily operations Of the Electrical Assembly work centers. This includes, but is not limited to

Assisting with directing personnel and special processes, managing administrative processes, process improvements for

efficiency and quality, controlling raw material, optimizing safety and adherence to scheduled delivery

requirements

 

 

 

Job Duties:

 

1. Assist with Interviewing, hiring, training and mentoring personnel.

2. Manage Electrical, ESD, Testing and compound molding processes.

3. Controlling and optimizing work and workloads in the electrical assembly process

4. Demonstrate and require optimal techniques in wiring, soldering, crimping, splicing and stripping.

4. Provide Input to Management on personnel regarding performance, evaluations, conduct and compliance.

5. Assist with Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

6. Integrate electrical componentry and wiring into and on machine tools as well as subassemblies

7. Define processes as well as resources needed for the timely output of products

8. Make recommendations to improve production methods, performance, equipment and quality of

product.

9. Interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.

10. Ensure the consistent quality of production.

11. Analyze and resolve work problems and utilize collaboration for resolving problems, to include direct

reports.

12. Develop subordinates' skills, encourage growth and mentor future leadership.

13. Perform other duties as assigned and/or needed.

 

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

1. A-A degree or equivalent from 2-year College or technical school; with 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,

and procedure manuals. Interprets blueprints, specifications, job orders and assigns work.

3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, drawings, specifications, and governmental regulations.

4. Assist with Interviews and trains employees.

5. Demonstrates equipment setup and operation, techniques of assembly, wiring, and soldering.

6. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

7. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

8. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.

9. Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) (Not Required but recommended)

10. Familiarity with MRP/ERP software. Knowledge of SAP ERP software.

11. Previous experience in troubleshooting and assembly of military mechanical and/or electromechanical equipment.

12. Maintain awareness and understanding of documents published in the BMS Library.

13. Must be able to speak/read/write English. (Bi-Lingual a Plus)

 

 

 

Physical Demands:

 

1. Frequent standing, walking, or sitting.

2. Occasionally required to bend, stoop, or kneel.

 

 

Salary Range:

 

$85,000 - $110,000

Salary is based on skills, experience, and education.
