Based in Southern California near the Los Angeles International Airport, The Marvin Group consists of Marvin Engineering (MEC), Marvin Test Solutions (MTS) and Marvin Land Systems (MLS).  Marvin Engineering designs and produces military Alternate Mission Equipment.  Marvin Test Solutions designs and manufactures armament Test Equipment. Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. Our collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Ensure documents and materials comply with company policies, procedures, work instructions, standard practices, and training materials
  • Precisely interpret drawings and adhere to the MEC quality management system
  • Ensure precise entry, monitoring, and updating in spreadsheets and databases
  • Effectively communicate quality control process and requirements to internal and external customers
  • Ensure assigned tasks and duties are completed accurately and on time
  • Foster relationships with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and address any issues
  • Maintain and monitor SAP in accordance with established processes, ensuring detailed information and status updates
  • Manage and oversee multiple internal databases
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
  • Perform additional tasks as required
     

Skills and Requirements

 

  • 2 years Aerospace experience, preferably with Quality 
  • Ability to read and interpret drawing and specification requirements, GDT experience preferred
  • Proficient with basic algebra
  • 2 years ERP experience, preferably with SAP
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong organizational, written and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to solve problems, make decisions and think outside of box
  • Strong work ethics - meet deadlines, multitask, reliable, works well under pressure
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

 

Work Environment

  • Medium-to-large inspection and production floor environment
  • Fast paced office environment
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments
