Based in Southern California near the Los Angeles International Airport, The Marvin Group consists of Marvin Engineering (MEC), Marvin Test Solutions (MTS) and Marvin Land Systems (MLS).  Marvin Engineering designs and produces military Alternate Mission Equipment.  Marvin Test Solutions designs and manufactures armament Test Equipment. Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Ensures compliance to MEC requirements, quality standards, drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Review supplier documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  2. Create, monitor, and submit email notifications to both internal and external suppliers/customers.
  3. Prepare Drawings by ballooning the dimensions requirements
  4. Review documentation and complete SAP transactions or ticket system as needed. 

 

 

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • High School graduate or a General Educational Development (GED) Certificate
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel).
  • Computer Literate
  • Good oral and written English communication skills.
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with others are a must.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are a plus.
  • Work with a positive “can-do” attitude and work with a sense of urgency when needed.
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

  • Medium-to-large inspection and production floor environment
  • Fast-paced office environment
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Exposed to a combination of normal office-type environments

 

 

SALARY RANGE:

 

Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $24.00 - $26.00 Per Hour
