POSITION SUMMARY: 

 This is a hands-on position responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on LAN switching technologies. The role will involve working closely with senior network administrators to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of the company’s network environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Install and Configure Network Switches (Aruba, HP, Cisco)
  • Monitor and Maintain Network Switch Performance
  • Assist with Switch Configuration and Upgrades
  • Manage IDF Installations and Cable Organization
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with escalated tickets
  • Configure and Maintain Network Protocols (VLAN, STP, LACP)
  • Firewall Support and Basic Routing Configuration
  • Document Network Configurations and Topology
  • Collaborate on Network Security Compliance

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switch installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Aruba, HP, and Cisco switches, including VLAN, STP, LACP, and other Layer 2 protocols.
  • Experience with network firewalls and basic routing concepts.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of IDF installation and structured cable management standards.
  • Understanding of network security principles, including 802.1X and access control.
  • Ability to work with SSO (Okta) and multi-factor authentication (2FA) solutions.
  • Strong documentation skills for network topology and configurations.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of relevant network administration experience with certifications such as CCNA, Aruba Certified Switching Associate, or equivalent.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Sitting at a desk for long periods of time using computers, printers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • Being on call to ensure that the network and computer systems are always functioning properly.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Remote work may be required.
  • Team environment

 

 SALARY RANGE:

Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $75,000 to $86,250
