Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and set up Vertical,Horizontal , 5 axis Mills/ Lathes under minimal supervision.
• Must have 3-7 years experience in set-ups.
• Have a good understanding of fixturing and tooling and be capable of performing setups independently.
• Must be able to work from complex Blueprints and  manufacturing sketches.
• Uses a variety of measuring instruments in production to ensure parts are meeting Blueprint requirements.
• Responsible for the quality of their product.
• Responsible for meeting established cycle times.
• Performs routine daily maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Utilize ERP system to accurately record labor hours and production quantity.
• Suggests recommendations to Supervisor or Leads concerning process improvements, program edits and corrections needed to reduce set up times as well as improve cycle times.
• Perform standard shop computations .
• Understanding of lean and 6S concepts.
• Follow Safety and FOD procedures.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

• Is regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
• Must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds to chest level.
• Occasionally must lift up to 25 pounds over the head.
• Ability to hear.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must wear PPE at all times ( Safety Shoes and Safety Glasses)
