POSITION SUMMARY: 

 To maintain accuracy of the Facilities, Work Order System and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) data including planning and scheduling for Machine Maintenance, General Maintenance and Custodial activities within the Facilities Department

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With direction from Facilities Leadership Team will plan, schedule, coordinate dally operations by planning the use of materials and labor.
  • Work closely with Machine Maintenance Supervisor, Building Maintenance Supervisor and Custodial -Supervisor to ensure proper skill level and manpower of all three departments is effectively utilized to schedule work orders a minimum of 2 weeks out
  • Accountable for the accuracy of all Facilities data within the work order system
  • Develop recommendations for process improvements
  • Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance
  • Monitor facilities operations to ensure goals are met. This includes office, shop, warehouse areas, as well as in the field that covers all company property.
  • Interact with customers to define, evaluate, and prioritize work order requests.
  • Create and maintain process flow charts and facility seating plans.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

SKILLS AND REQUIRMENTS:

  • Maintain awareness and understanding of documents published in the BMS Library, with specific competency of general as well as related field documents
  • High School diploma, technical training in Facilities Maintenance field or equivalent
  • Associates Degree or Certifications Preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field
  • Minimum 2 years facilities planning and scheduling experience in the industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with MS Visio and/or MS Project preferred
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Office & Manufacturing Floor
  • This position is not eligible for Remote Work
