Position Summary:
The Electrical Program Engineer leads the end-to-end technical execution of complex electrical engineering programs, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives. This role serves as a cross-functional integrator—working across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and program management—to deliver products from concept through production with a high degree of technical and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the electrical engineering scope for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with system architecture, requirements, and performance targets.
• Develop, validate, and maintain program-level electrical system requirements, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
• Drive detailed design activities, design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEAs to prevent catastrophic or high-impact system failures.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues, ensure design integrity, and maintain configuration control.
• Manage program schedules, milestones, and deliverables for the electrical engineering workstream.
• Provide clear, data-driven updates on risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure electrical designs are producible, cost-effective, and aligned with long-term product reliability.
• Support prototype builds, system integration, validation testing, and root-cause investigations for electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality processes.
• Continuously improve program execution practices, technical processes, and engineering documentation.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, hardware development, or product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, power distribution, embedded systems, and reliability engineering.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced engineering environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and program discipline.
