Defense contractor involved with product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area. SCOPE

The Expediter is responsible for Procurement follow-up, reporting functions and prioritization of program and contractual requirements. Tracking purchase order line items in accordance with production schedule to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Commodity Management Teams and Integrated Product Teams.
  • Provide Programs with delivery status updates for procured products.
  • Coordinate with IPT's and CMT's to identify, prioritize constraints from Marvin Supply base.
  • Input and verify accurate updates in SAP (MRP system) for status reporting.
  • Track purchase order line items in accordance with production schedule and expedite orders as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal customers as well as the Supply Base.
  • Support a "One Team" work environment.
  • Adherence to Marvin policies and procedures.

 

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years procurement experience in Aerospace industry
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required 
  • Experience with SAP (MRP system)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Must be able to speak/read/write English
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
