POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Supports and contributes to program business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights used to advise the business and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making. Mines, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using KPIs, business results, industry sources, and customer information. Develops a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree (or substantiated prior experience in finance, computer science, statistics or a quantitative field.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program financial reporting to achieve specific goals and outcomes
  • Collaborates with Program Managers, Program Finance Managers, and IT specialists to design and execute data collection and analysis methods using a variety of software (Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAP BI, and others)
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop and test data collection instruments and procedures
  • Collect and clean data from various sources
  • Perform data analysis using statistical software and tools
  • Visualize data findings using charts or graphs
  • Monitor program progress and performance indicators
  • Troubleshoot data issues or discrepancies working with appropriate stakeholders inside and outside the Program Office
  • Assist Program Office PMs and Director in preparation for Program Management Reviews of programmatic financial data

 

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant educational background and/or substantial hands-on work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in data analytics, statistics, computer science, or a related field, plus experience in data analysis, project management, or program evaluation
  • High-Level proficiency in data analysis software and tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau or Power BI is essential
  • Interpreting and communicating data results and implications clearly and effectively
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and quality; critical thinking; problem-solving; decision-making; creativity; innovation; curiosity; teamwork; collaboration; communication skills; adaptability; flexibility; and willingness to learn

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

Office environment. Typical 8-hour workday; Schedule is flexible within standard Program Office operating hours of 6am – 5pm, as approved by the Program Director to meet business needs

 

 

SALARY RANGE:

 

Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $77,300 - $95,200 (based on skills, experience, education)
