POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will primarily be responsible for entering, compiling, and sorting Test Department data and records. Test Administrator will facilitate test documentation needs by interfacing with Document Control and will be able to retrieve data from test data files and records. Production Order test data will be compiled by the Test Administrator and handed off to Document Control. The data collected will be used to improve the Test Department in many ways including improvements and tracking of test yield, test standards, and support in the development and maintenance of Test Department metrics.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communication: Communicate promptly with Supervisor regarding any incomplete forms and coordinate the transfer and receipt of calibrated equipment with Metrology.
- Teamwork: Support the Supervisor by verifying technician training records prior to assignment, collecting and following up test data from QC, and promptly notifying the Supervisor when training records or required forms are missing.
- Attention to detail: Maintain accurate records of test equipment, including location tracking and calibration due dates; review SAP production orders for correct sequence; and compile comprehensive test data sheets.
- Cross Functional collaboration: Request supplies and materials (PR’s) from purchasing to support test personnel and the test department.
- MS Office application competency: Update and maintain test department metrics and update training records.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- H.S, Diploma or GED required
- Must be extremely organized and extremely accurate with details with strong working knowledge of MSOffice and excellent typing skills
- Must be driven to maintain a repeatable systematic approach to completing tasks
- 3+ years’ experience in a related field during which time, a good working knowledge of: typical lab instrumentation, lab test equipment, proper testing techniques and safety awareness has been learned.
- Familiarity with Safety Practices and ESD practices.
- Proven ability to multitask, communicate well, and train others as needed
- Strong team player who can interface with a variety of groups
- Excellent record of attendance and reliability
- Must be able to lift, up to 35 lbs.
