SCOPE

The Project Engineer position is a multi-disciplinary role that covers drafting (process and fabrication documentation), pump sizing and design, industrial piping, facility layout and planning, and performing lab tests. Some travel is expected, and a current passport is preferred.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Testing wastewater samples for content and chemical treatability.
  • Writing lab reports.
  • Ability to read and interpret customer provided specifications (e.g., statements of work, technical/engineering specifications, etc.) and to translate them into actionable plans.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Must be able to properly utilize measuring tools (e.g., measuring tape, level, layout marking) and accurately document the jobsite area.
  • Strong desire to learn and explore new ideas, take ownership of high mix of dissimilar tasks/duties, and drive them from inception through completion.
  • Flexibility to be a team player, but also self-directed and highly motivated when assigned program goals to achieve.

 

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Entry level knowledge of drafting software required (AutoCAD or SolidWORKS).
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with basic engineering principles
  • Experience with industrial pump and piping design is highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge in chemistry is preferred.
  • Applicants must be open to travel for on-site visits, all located in North America.
  • Technical writing skills (reports, presentations, etc.)
  • Must be able to speak/read/write English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
