Description:
The Service Tech/Installer position reports to Operations Manager and Production Manager. This is a multi-roll job that will require the Tech/Installer to travel and work alone or with a team. This job will require them to perform both service calls and installations. The Service Tech/ Installer(s) are highly trained technicians, this includes but not limited to working at the CWT facility, maintaining good attendance, workmanship, communication skills, following company standards. Should be self-motivated in setting and reaching goals. The Service Tech / Installer should be proficient in all tools (i.e., all hand tools, welder, saws, hammer drill) and be trained in trade techniques required to install and service the GEM System i.e. (jar testing, pumps seals replacement, pump power leg eval, programing PH controllers, Level controllers, Timers). As well as having knowledge of all CWT provided equipment that is associated with a GEM system and its sequence of operation. Ability to lift 75lbs and work in confined spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain skill levels and proficiency in hand/power tools and trade installation techniques to company standards.
- Develop skills in all CWT provided equipment such as pH systems, Motor Controls, and GEM electronics.
- Develop the skills to complete jar testing required for set starting system.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients and contractors.
- Develop service options (preventative maintenance) for clients and CWT.
- Work in the shop or in the field as required depending on workloads.
- Work in CWT facility when not in the field as a technician that assists the shop staff.
- Read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Complete all installation and repairs to code and/or company standards and customer satisfaction.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Be a problem solver, diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions.
- Organizational skills.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized work vehicle if applicable.
- Maintain a clean truck, appropriate grooming, and demonstrate organizational skills.
- All documents are accurately completed, this includes but not limited to inventory, photos, and authorization forms.
- Time sheets are complete and accurate to company standards.
- Maintain a spending report on company standards.

- Continued education of installations and service techniques.
- Maintain a professional image.
- Leave the job site cleaner than when you arrived.
- Job sites must be maintained in an organized, professional, and safe manner always.
- Review job with customer prior to starting for approval.
- Work in a shop when no service calls or installations are on schedule.
- Be on call for immediate deployment to a job site.
- Maintain all tools and parts inventory.
- Service/maintenance of Toolboxes.
- Ability to trouble shoot all electrical and mechanical problems of a GEM system and accessories.
- Tracking mileage for trips.
- Read, understand, and apply company policies, procedures, and guidelines for inventory control.
- Aid and assist all departments as needed.

Measure of Performance:
- Ability to work as a team in the field.
- Consistently demonstrate improvement in skill level and performance.
- Ability to work well with customers. No customer complaints.
- Build a PM program that is self-sustained.
- Maintaining inventory or parts, supplies, and tools on truck and gang box, spot checks are consistent with check out sheet.
- Ability to work well as a member of the fabrication/assembly crew in shop.
- Work is completed correctly, efficiently, up to the current code and standards.
- Tech to contact customers prior to leaving for jobsite, completing jobs in a timely manner without having to make multiple trips back to shop.
- Ability to maintain records of each job/service call so client’s problems can be tracked.
- Customer satisfaction with CWT services.
- Ability to solve client’s problems creatively and economically.
- Forms are filled out and turned in daily and inventory is maintained at accurate levels under your control.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $ 85,000
