ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER III

Defense contractor involved with product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area is searching for an experienced Electrical Assembler III. With a 60+ year foundation, The Marvin Group supports all branches of the Department of Defense and allies around the globe on an array of programs and platforms. We support many military prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.

SCOPE
Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembly, inspection, modification and re-work of electrical sub-systems, subassemblies,
electronic and electromechanical components, harnesses & cables used for production purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Build product electrical assemblies and/or final assemblies
•    Set up and operate various types of equipment to fabricate and assemble complete electrical assemblies
•    Ability to work from work instructions and assembly drawings
•    Mount new components to panels utilizing various hand tools
•    Build and Install cable assemblies per specifications
•    Maintain clean production equipment and work areas
•    Transfer hazardous or non-hazardous waste materials to collection areas for disposal, recycling, or reuse
•    Adhere to established manufacturing and material control policies and procedures in compliance with ISO quality standards

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
•    High school diploma or GED
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
•    Basic understanding of technical drawings and specifications
•    Basic computer skills
•    Must be able to speak/read/write English
•    Strong work ethic and team player
•    Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
