Defense contractor involved with product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area is searching for an experienced IPT Interface. With a 50+ year foundation, The Marvin Group supports all branches of the Department of Defense and allies around the globe on an array of programs and platforms. We support many military prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.

An IPT Interface is responsible for ensuring that Marvin Engineering Program IPT's have the supplies and inventory they require to fulfill Customer schedules. The IPT Interface will update all required Program Build Plans and communication to the PMO and Planning on all status requests. The IPT Interface is also responsible to ensure that all interested departments and personnel are updated with status information on all open contracts between the PMO and the supply base. The IPT Interface will be the POC for all communication status updates between the PMO, Planning, Production Control, and Supply Chain.

 

Job Duties:

 

• Work with different heads of department to monitor inventory levels, assess supply vendors and ensure delivered supplies meet Planning & PMO delivery requirements.

• Collaborate and communicate with Expeditors and Buyers to verify and update supplier contract status to delivery date.

• Manage product status reporting to Planning and the PMO to validate production schedules for ongoing projects/programs and elevate concerns when delays can affect Program delivery.

• Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination of production requirements.

• Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate and coordinate with Planning, PMO, PC, and Supply Chain for all status updates on delivery timelines.

• Compile, record and report program performance and progress to management and key stakeholders

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A strong team builder

• Excellent knowledge of SAP

• 5 years Purchasing/Expediting experience

• Strong training and mentoring skills

• Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools, and project management

• Excellent time management skills

• High school diploma or GED required
